The EPDLA Food Contact Materials Task Force deals with scientific and regulatory issues related to the use of polymer dispersions in polymer dispersions and lattices various “food contact materials” applications, such as paper and board, adhesives, etc. Through EPDLA’s membership in Cefic’s Food Contact Additives Sector Group, the Food Contact Materials Task Force is monitoring and contributing, where needed, on the various scientific and regulatory activities which might impact the use of polymer dispersions and lattices in food contact materials.

Currently the EPDLA Food Contact Materials Task Force follows closely the developments on the Commission revision of EU rules on food contact materials (FCMs).
